ASSOCIATE SOCIAL WORKER  (California)

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER  (Puerto Rico)

I believe therapy is a space to empower you to trust yourself and the strength you already possess.

ADHD |  COUPLES & RELATIONSHIP ISSUES | TEENS

To others you look fine, but on the inside you're struggling. It’s time for a change but you don't know where to get started.  You're tired of feeling scattered, anxious, and stuck while trying to manage different areas of life.

You're just going through the motions, and something is missing.  You know your past is impacting your present, but you're not sure what to do about it.

What you do know is that things with your relationships and family are...well...complicated.  You're at a crossroads with some of the people in your life, but you're not exactly sure what the next step might be.

You're ready to get started

Whatever the problem, you’re ready to do the work so you can stop trying so hard without any change. You're ready to sort through the past to live more fully in the present. You’ve put it off for long enough and now you are ready to prioritize yourself to truly live and reconnect with your authentic self.

You want to learn tools to help cope with your situation, while building better relationships and boundaries. You're hoping to gain insight about yourself and look at the situation from different perspectives to know how to best move forward. Together we'll work through your concerns related to relationship problems, difficult family dynamics, anxiety, and ADHD.

My therapeutic style

I have an easy-going therapeutic style, but I'm not afraid to gently push my clients towards personal growth.  I'll give you the space to process you're experience without judgement, but I'll be honest and real with you so you can start showing up as the person you want to be. Therapy is a collaborative process so let's begin your journey to living the life you want to live.

As your therapist I will assist you in slowing down your thought processes, recognize patterns that might not be serving you, and help you develop skills that are not only realistic but transferable to your life outside of the therapy session.

YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT SPOT.

My approach to therapy is holistic in nature, based on the notion that individuals hold the solutions and answers to their problems within.

A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME:
  • Though I have lived the island life for about 6 years, I will forever be a Washingtonian at heart. Give me all the grey skies. evergreens, and hot coffee!

  • The greatest thing COVID taught me was that I am a natural at woodworking and will spend all of my time rearranging my house.

  • I'm a firm believer that if our society valued mental wellness as much as physical, we would all live much fuller and happier lives.
