ASSOCIATE SOCIAL WORKER  (California)

I believe therapy is a safe space to show up just as you are and help you feel empowered to navigate the challenges you face.

ANXIETY  |  WOMEN & MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH |  RELATIONSHIP ISSUES & COUPLES

You knew motherhood would have its ups and downs, but this new reality has brought unexpected challenges. You knew life after kids was going to look different, but you didn't understand how different.  You've started questioning your sense of self and feeling like you've lost the connection to who you are since so much has changed.

Plus the weight of guilt, shame, and feeling of overwhelm for not savoring every moment of motherhood is getting to be too much.

Of course you love child, but managing everything is HARD. Even your relationship with your partner has changed, leaving you feeling uncertain about navigating parenthood together. You're looking for someone who "gets it" and can support you both in the bitter and the sweet of this chapter of life.

You're ready to get started

It's time to take care of yourself and find an open and nurturing space where you can freely share your innermost thoughts and feelings without fear or reservation.  Together we'll help you explore your emotions, clarify your goals, and empower you to voice your own needs. I'll provide you with a safe and judgement-free space where you can let it all out.

I work with women who are looking for support from someone who truly understands personally and professionally both the beautiful and challenging moments of this season of life. I'm committed to empower you on your journey to becoming the mom and woman you want to be.

I also work with couples who are looking for love more and fight less.  I help couples recognize the  unhelpful cycles they're getting stuck in so they can start to make the changes to improve their communication and connection.  You and your partner will be learning and practicing practical skills both in session and at home, so you can start to feel more confident and grounded in your relationship. We'll also help you and your partner clarify your core values as a couple so you can build a foundation based on what's most important to you both.

My therapeutic style

I have an easy-going and non-judgmental therapeutic style.  I'll be empathetic and real with you so you can start showing up as the person you want to be.  I help my clients develop practical and solution focused steps to help them move towards balance and personal wholeness.   Therapy can be a transformative journey where you can start to make wholehearted changes.

As your therapist I will assist you in figuring out what you need to find balance and relief.  I'll help you learn coping skills so you can slow down your thought processes, recognize patterns that might not be serving you, and help you develop skills that are not only realistic but practical to help you outside of the therapy session.  Let's get to work so we can help you make the changes you've been craving.

YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT SPOT.
